 NCC develops character and commandership, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, spirit of adventure, ideals of selfless service amongst the youth of the country and also provide suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed

 JRS has introduced NCC in the school in the year 2009 under 19th Karnataka Battalion Kodagu District, Madikeri, Head quarters Mangalore

 At present we have – 50 cadets.

CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIONS

A CERTIFICATE (Unit level)

Cadets of class X appear for ‘A’ Certificate Examination in the month of January every year.

Eligibility Criteria:-

  1. 75% attendance in NCC parade and related training activities
  2. Participation in atleast one NCC camp during the year of appearing for

During the academic year 2022-23 

All the cadets actively participated in the following

  • international yoga day which was held at Kushalnagar Town and also in the premises of

Harangi Dam on 21st June 2022.

  • Punith Sagar Abhiyan :- NCC Cadets took part in this abhiyan and cleaned the premises of harangi dam
  • Republic Day and Independence Day Celebration : NCC Cadets actively participated during Republic and independence day parade which was held at government college Kushalnagar
  • CATC Camp : - Ten cadets participated in CATC Camp which was held at Sainik School, And ten more students participated in CATC camp held at St Philomina College, Puttur in the academic year 2022-2023.
