THE FOUR HOUSES OF JRS
To inculcate the sense of responsibilities, self confidence, belongingness and to create harmony among the students we at JRS formulated, House system which inspires students to be supportive despite the sense of competition.
The 4 distinctive houses depicting the names of brave and famous heros from the great Hindu epic Mahabhartha are.
1. Abhimanyu house
2. Arjuna house
3. Dhronacharya house
4. Ekalavya house
Each houses is headed by house master and assistant house master who guides the captain and vice captain in various events.
1. Abhimanyu house
Abhimanyu INSPIRED by the legendary warrior abimanyu, from the ancient Hindu epic Mahabharata. He was a brave and tragic hero. The flag color is RED and the color of blood, it has historically been associated with sacrifice, danger, and courage. Modern surveys in Europe and the United States show red is also the color most commonly associated with heat, activity, anger, love, joy etc. In China, India, and many other Asian countries it is the color symbolizing happiness and good fortune. Red means proud and passionate symbolising self respect, pride, courage and heroism
2. Arjuna house
Arjuna also known as Partha and Dhananjaya, is one of the chief protagonists of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. In the epic, he is the third among five Pandava brothers, from the royal line of the Kuru Kingdom.
The flag color is ORANGE and is associated with optimism and energy, it convey”s a message of positivity. Orange is often described as an energetic color and symbolises the best aspects of humanity , Courage , intelligence and blossom. It may call to mind feelings of enthusiasm and excitement.
3. Dhronacharya house
Dronacharya, is a major character of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. In the epic, he serves as the royal preceptor of the Kauravas and the Pandavas. He is one of the primary counsellors and warriors featured in the epic. He is a friend of Sukracharya, the guru of the asuras, as well as Mahabali
The flag color is YELLOW symbolises Idolism, optimism, hope and happiness. It stands for positivity, enlightment and loyalty.yellow is for happiness, hope and spontaneity.It's the color of the sun, smiley faces and sunflowers. Yellow is a happy and a youthful color, and it grabs your attention with its hope and positivity.
4. Ekalavya house
Ekalavya is a character from the Indian epic Mahābhārata. He was a young prince of the Nishadas, a confederation of forest and hill tribes in ancient India. Ekalavya is called as one of the foremost of Kings in the Rajasuya Yagya where he honours Yudhishthira by offering shoes with respect.
Color of the flag is BLUE and symbolizing peace and tranquillity sense of calmness loyalty and order. The color blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence.
